PianoDisc Remote App User Guide
Why This App?
Balance Control: Adjust the piano and audio separately.
Music Chest: Super simple PlayList. Add your music, repeat it.
Schedule: Program the piano to play any time, 24/7
PianoDisc Radio: Stream free music to your piano.
Limits: Programmable upper/lower limits for piano/audio.
Mute: Turn off piano or audio during a performance.
Mute Recall: Program the audio of a song to turn off.
Level Recall: Store your audio settings for each and every song. When the song plays again, those settings are recalled.
Sync: Adjust the audio to the piano.
This app was designed for the PianoDisc iQ system. This player system can be completely wireless. When set up this way, there are no visible wires or boxes on the piano itself. The app will also work when the piano is "hard wired." Meaning: if you have a 1/8" stereo cable, or an av composite cable the app works just as well.
The iQ system is incredible as it is. However, this app adds a bunch of really fun and powerful features.
The first of which is Balance Control. As in you can now adjust the balance between the piano and the audio. Without this app, balance control is not really practical without mounting a balance control box. If your piano doesn't have a Balance Control Box, and you don't have this app, you'll have to crawl under the piano to adjust the speaker.
This app will not run on your iMac or iTunes running on your PC. This app will most likely be converted to run with the Android operating system in the future. For now, it only works with iPods/iPhones/iPads and iPad minis. You can download the app to your iTunes app library, and then sync it to your device. This app will not replace a hand held remote for the pds228/128 or CD only system. This was designed for the iQ system only.
This app does not access your iTunes library on your computer. It access the music on your apple device. It then transmits the music wirelessly via wifi to a wireless receiver under the piano called AirPort Express. If you do not have a wireless receiver (AirPort Express) under your piano, you can plug directly into the "Line in" jack on the iQ control box with a cable and the app will work in the same manner as if it were wireless.
This app will run on an iPad, but it was designed for the iPod/iPhone. We will have an iPad version soon. On some iPads app's graphics don't look right. As mentioned, we will have a dedicated iPad version soon. Please let us know if graphics on your ipad don't look right. We have only seen this one time.
Please post a positive review if you like the app. If you are not happy for some reason, please let us know before you post a negative review. Thank you!

Remembers if the speaker was turned off during a particular song. The next time that song plays, the speaker will turn off automatically. This prevents unwanted noise from making it to the speaker during piano only performances.
Set Volume Levels high/low and overall volume when Master Volume of your Device is present in Main. Kind of tricky to explain. Use the app, you'll understand!

Dear PianoDisc Remote Users. This has been good to have this version of the app out for a while. We have learned a few things and have refined some others. A new version will probably be out in a month or so. We are making lots of improvements. We will have Sync with the next version. This will allow you to adjust the audio to the piano. To read even more about upcoming changes, click on the button below.
Music Connect Files do not work with this version of the app. With our next upgrade, it will.
Dear App Purchaser. This version of the app is no longer available. But these pages are still active because they contain a lot of valuable information. We are updating this site as we speak. This will be done soon. The user-interface has totally changed, but the operation is pretty much the same.
