Hayes Electronics · updates install over the USB cable from Chrome or Edge on a computer. About two minutes. Your calibration and settings stay as they are.
- Close the Arduino IDE or any other program that might be using the USB port.
- Plug the box into this computer with its USB cable. The MIDI cable can stay connected.
- Click Install, pick the USB device in the list (usually “CP2102” or “CH340”), then click Install again.
- Wait about two minutes. Don't unplug. The box restarts by itself on the new firmware.
If the device list is empty, unplug the cable, wait five seconds, plug it back in and try again. If asked, do not choose “erase device” — that would wipe your calibration.
