FaTázz came about because I wanted to create a simple app for myself which would help me lose weight. I have found that the best way for me to do that is to track what I weigh each and every day, watch what I eat, and obviously exercise and diet. There are many weight loss apps out there and FaTázz is a light-hearted one that does exactly what it claims to do in a fun way.

I don't like counting calories.  I know what I should and shouldn't eat. I think that anyone who is overweight knows what they're doing wrong and how they got where they are now. I don't really need an app to tell me how much I should eat and how much I should exercise. I simply need an app that keeps track of everything for me so that I can monitor myself. FaTázz does just that.

In the future I might add more features but it's ready to go right now. It's already helping me. I mentioned that I don't need it to tell me everything, however it does keep track of calories consumed and burned, food eaten, exercise done and my weight every day.

FaTázz is basically a journal for our weight loss endeavor. You enter what you weigh in the morning and at night. You enter the calories that you consume and the food that you eat. You enter the calories that you burn and if you exercised or not. All of this data is recorded on a calendar. You then easily review each and every day and review your weight loss regime and progress.

Now there's one other feature that I don't think any other weight loss app out there has: A picture journal. FaTázz allows you to take pictures of yourself every day and only you can see them. They are protected by a password that you set up and once again, only you can see those pictures! Those pictures are then stored and recorded and they will also help you with this battle.

One of the best things about FaTázz is that you can lose weight slowly. You don't have to lose 50 pounds at once. Just set little goals for yourself. So in my case, I started off by saying okay I want to lose ten pounds. I enter what my current weight is, and then I enter my goal weight. A blue marker on the main screen appears which indicates that start weight, and a green marker appears which shows my goal weight. The big red needle shows my current weight. The main page also shows your BMI or body mass index. It does not show your "ideal weight" because this is subjective. I really think that you are the only one who can determine what your ideal weight should be. You'll notice that the fat female or male character on the main screen shrinks as you lose weight. More images will be added in the future so that the animation is more fluid. However, there are plenty of images for now to get us started.

I really hope that you like this app and that it actually helps you to lose weight. Please share with your friends! Please like and give the app five stars if you like it. If there's something else that you'd like me to make this app do please pass it along and I'll see if I can implement it. Thanks and enjoy FaTázz! Oh and feel free to pronounce it however you like!
